GUARANTEE AND WARANTEE (CUSTOM MILLWORK)
CNC Cutting Inc has a warranty period of 12 months commencing on the date of completion. This guarantees to make good and/or replace, if necessary, any and all defects due to the company's workmanship.

This warranty excludes normal incidental deterioration such as nicks, scratches, abrasions, and natural aging whether resulting from effects of normal wear and tear or abnormal use, damage breakdown and/or failure resulting from lack of proper maintenance, a building environment that fails to maintain a relative humidity between 45% and 55% and temperature between 17 and 24 degrees celsius, willful damage, vandalism, negligence, acts of God, or other like causes. This warranty also excludes any warping of doors over 72” tall. Also, included but not limited to delamination of plastic laminate work and warpage of millwork. This limited warranty does not cover natural aging, darkening of wood, or features inherent in wood species, style and finish attributes. Solid wood components will naturally change size and shape over time and despite best practice techniques being applied and hardware used, some elements can go out of alignment. If components are replaced, CNC Cutting cannot guarantee that the finish of these replacements will exactly match the finish and appearance of the original components due to the changes outlined above. This warranty is offered only to the original purchaser of the millwork at the original site of installation and is not transferable. This warranty is void should forces other than ours perform any work to alter, or change in any way, the work provided by us under our contract. Repairs will be made promptly upon written notification of any or all deficiencies by the owner or their consultants.

GUARANTEE AND WARANTEE (CNC SERVICES)
Refunds and replacements can be given where goods are faulty (other than any fault or quality issue that was communicated to the customer, or which ought to have been revealed by an examination of the product at time of pickup) are different from a sample shown to you or do not do what they are supposed to do. Goods will be repaired if damaged during transportation or installation if those services are provided by us.

MATERIAL SUPPLY (CNC SERVICES)
For projects with material being supplied by customer we require material in addition to the minimum requirements of the project to be supplied. This extra material should be supplied for initial testing procedures for machining and fitment of any parts together or hardware installation. Additional material is also typically required in case of part loss during machining. While we do program machining processes to minimise imperfections or part loss, custom projects present challenges that cannot always be completely anticipated. For projects using stocked material (i.e. poplar plywood, birch plywood, MDF) we will include this in our initial costings and cover any additional costs for material required. For a project requiring 20 sheets we would ask for an additional sheet or two be supplied. For a project requiring 100 sheets we would suggest supplying an additional 5 sheets. All unused sheets will be returned to the customer should they not be required to complete the machining processes. We find this approach to be the best way to get a complete set of parts for your project without the need to wait for additional material required to complete the project should any issues arise during the machining processes. It also ensures consistency in appearance of the material (colour/tone/manufactured batch) and in some cases (with veneers for instance) we can use the nicest looking material.

TERMS OF TRADE
Invoices that do not include installation are payable in full before order is picked up or delivered.
For invoices that do include installation, 90% of amount including HST is to be prior to installation with final 10% due within 7 days of installation. CNC Cutting Inc claims no responsibility for fault or error in material provided by the customer, including but not exclusive to digital files, drawings, design specifications, verbal descriptions, written descriptions etc.

CANCELLATION OF ORDERS
Any of the following actions will be deemed an official sales order and instruction to proceed under the terms of our quotation and terms of trade: 1. The payment of any amounts due in relation to a CNC Cutting Inc quotation, estimate or invoice, or;
2. The verbal, faxed, emailed or digitally transferred receipt of any intent to proceed in relation to a CNC Cutting Inc quotation, estimate or invoice.
In the event that a client does not wish us to proceed with production after any of the above events, it is the client's responsibility to provide written instructions via email to info@cnccutting.ca and to also receive our verbal or electronic confirmation of this cancellation. The client will be liable to CNC Cutting Inc for the order processing, design, materials and labour costs incurred to that point, plus an administrative cost of 20% of the goods value.

DELAYS IN MANUFACTURE
We take pride in meeting our estimated lead times for delivery of satisfactory product and providing realistic and achievable deadline for order completion.
In the event that order production is delayed due to circumstances beyond CNC Cutting Inc's control (including but not limited to transit delays, production delays, supply chain delays, equipment malfunction or maintenance), the client shall remain liable for all amounts due under the contract upon the eventual delivery of the product. Clients are asked to provide ample additional time to allow for unforeseen circumstances. In some cases we do agree to the endeavour to meet deadlines shorter than our estimates. In this case unforeseen circumstances may lead to some compromise in finish or quality if the deadline cannot be extended.

STORAGE FEES
Storage fees will be charged for goods left in our possession for more than 2 weeks. After 2 weeks from the date of completion, storage will be charged at $100 per cubic metre per week.

VARIATION POLICY
Any changes requested by the client or previously unknown factors beyond CNC Cutting Inc's control may incur additional costs to the client, calculated at a standard rate of $135 per hour plus HST.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND DOCUMENTATION
We reserve the right to document both the process of fabricating the projects we work on as well as the finished product. Should any restrictions to this be required it must be raised and agreed upon prior to engagement and subsequent commencement. The ability to document our projects are essential to us.

We have developed a breadth of design, fabrication and manufacturing knowledge in our years of operation that we enjoy sharing with our clients to achieve the best results for them. We try to make the process as stress-free and streamlined as possible. If anything deviates from our collective goal please don’t hesitate to communicate that with us so we can work together towards a resolution.

Once your project commences (unless you’ve indicated otherwise and we’ve signed an agreement not to) you may see it pop up in various stages of completion on our social channels. Feel free to follow along!
